We have found we can achieve the same effective cleaning results as standard household cleaners, with just water and cleverly designed microfiber cloths made by Norwex. These cloths are capable of collecting upto 99% of bacteria from a surface and contain silver which kills the bacteria within the cloth. They are a great eco friendly alternative as they eliminate the need for harsh cleaning chemicals and are made from recycled plastic bottles which would have otherwise ended up in the landfill.
When a job requires a little extra cleaning power, such as the inside of a toilet, we use a homemade blend of Castile soap, baking soda, and essential oils.

One way we try to make a difference is by eliminating our use of disposable plastic bottles wherever possible and instead, take our used bottles into local stores to have them refilled when buying our bulk ingredients.
